If you have taken one of our 'Online Navigation for Ultra Runners' sessions then this is the 'practical' follow up to that session.

** If you haven't taken part in one of our online ultra nav sessions, then you will need to understand navigation to the point where you:

  • Can read the contours to see major landforms
  • Understand different map scales and brands
  • Understand why to orientate your map & a basic knowledge of how to
  • Have a basic understanding of features, footpaths and rights of way.
