We have been course planners in the past for events such as the Marmot Dark Mountains, and spend many a night running during the winter months. Night Navigation is an essential skill to have in your tool box when venturing into the mountains for a run during the winter months.
A professionally run course designed by runners for runners all about navigating at night. We supply course notes, hold a theory session in-doors before heading out for roughly 4+ hours of practical skill learning and setting. Tea, coffee and cake will be available plus on-demand advice about any event you might have entered.
On a Night Navigation Skills Session you will learn the following:
Every runner undertaking a night time or in the 'depths of Winter' event. Whether you just want to add a skill to your bow and enjoy the mountains over night during the winter, are training for an event such as the Montane Cheviot Goat, Montane Spine Race or another 'winter ultra' or want to make sure you are safe during the winter should the night draw in before you are 'off the hill', then this is the course for you.

The course is based around the fells of the Patterdale Valley, this could be either side. Conditions dependant.
